SilverSneakers® Classic

SilverSneakers® Classic is a fun and engaging fitness class designed to help older adults stay active and strong. Set to lively music, the class includes a variety of exercises that focus on improving strength, flexibility, and range of motion, making everyday activities easier and more enjoyable.

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance and chairs are used for seated and/or standing support.

Led by experienced instructors, you’ll explore creative sequences designed to cultivate strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Join us for a transformative journey on the mat and discover the joy of flowing with ease and grace.

You will begin with a short warm up sequence followed by supported poses held for deep yet gentle stretching. This relaxed state will be enhanced by live vibrational sound of crystal bowls, rattles, rain sticks, tingshas, or chakaba’s.
*The sound bowl portion of this program is not recommended if you are pregnant.
