For those just starting a workout regimen or recovering from injury, low-impact workouts are an effective approach. Our low-impact classes are structured to be just as fun as our regular classes, but easier on the body and joints and a terrific way to get in a heart-pumping workout while reducing the risk of injury.

Aqua Pilates

Traditional Pilates in combination with the natural resistance of water and use of props to build core strength and aid in proper body alignment.

Balanced Fitness

A “balanced” workout for all fitness levels. Cross‑training to enhance energy, gain strength, improve flexibility and burn calories.

Gentle Aqua

Enjoy the benefits of working out in the water! Water buoyancy protects muscles and joints from injury. This class offers stretching, toning, water walking, and light aerobics.

Gentle Yoga

This class is optimal for those who cannot meet the demands of physically straining exercises. Many modifications of standard Hatha yoga postures are offered along with the use of yoga props. 

Low-Impact Workout

A fun and energizing way to exercise to upbeat music while enhancing range of motion, balance, cardiovascular and muscular strength. This class has a low-impact on joints for everyday living.  

Restorative Yoga

Improve range of motion and joint mobility through relaxing poses, while reducing pain and the effects of stress. No prior yoga experience required. Those with injuries, arthritis or other chronic conditions will benefit most from this type of yoga practice. 

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga targets connective tissues, ligaments, bones, and joints that are not normally exercised in more active styles of yoga practice. This class is not recommended for those that are pregnant or have limitations due to joint issues or injuries


Zumba® Gold

A class for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.
